Wayne Farmer is building a platform to include, Creative (or content generation,) Commerce (using market forces to generate awareness and funding for,) Causes (supporting good work to address social injustice and inequality.) Elements of this platform include traditional film and TV and media development, production and finance, with an eye toward innovative marketing strategies to build audiences, de-risk investment, and increase financial and social return to convert awareness into action.Wayne has nearly two decades of experience advising foundations, philanthropists and families at the intersection of advocacy and media, with a focus on impact production. He has been at the helm of several successful non-profit and for-profit organizations, helping to build start-ups and scale established programs. Wayne is active in many philanthropy networks including food activism, veterans' issues, impact investing, and modern slavery.In his role as advisor to family offices and foundations, Wayne leads the development and financing strategies for documentary films to enhance advocacy and communications strategies. Wayne contributes to several films developing and facilitating relationships within the military/veteran and anti human trafficking communities for outreach, engagement and activation. He is also an advisor to several media brand.During his time at Arabella Advisors, Wayne worked with the most significant global grant making institutions, including the Gates Foundation, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the Knight Foundation. When World Bank President James D. Wolfensohn was build the boarding and World Links, an organization that established technology centers to advance educational and multimedia outcomes, Wayne was tapped to build the board and diversify revenue. Prior to World Links, Wayne helped to launch the International Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
