Wayne Forman

Wayne Forman is a New York-based business consultant who holds over three decades of experience with a variety of firms, including Forman International, where he served as president for over a decade. For the past several years, Wayne Forman has been in the process of launching the After the Event Insurance service.

The product, which is relatively new to the United States, helps plaintiffs in a lawsuit cover their expenses should a judge rule that the defendant is entitled to legal costs. With the service, Mr. Forman helps underwrite up to $3.125 million in expenses, and can also offer co-insurance if the expenses are expected to be higher.

Before starting his career, Mr. Forman studied at New York’s Long Island University, where he attained a BS in accounting and an MS in taxation (which he gained in 1983 and 1986, respectively). In the years since, he has served in a variety of roles. He worked as an independent consultant for several years, advising foreign-based companies on a range of issues.
