Wayne Redden

Wayne Redden is a musician from Asheville, North Carolina. At the young age of eighteen he has already studied drum set performance with John Blackwell (Prince), Henrique de Almeida, and Larry Finn. He began performing as a drummer at the age of ten around small, local venues and festivals. Over the period of eight years he has taught himself piano, guitar, and bass. He writes many of his own compositions and released an E.P. under the moniker Scenic Route in winter of 2010. He recently played in the Bean Town Jazz Festival in 2011 as a member of Marcus Santos’ Afrobrazil. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music degree at Berklee College of Music with drum set as his principle instrument.
