Wazdown Records is an independent label established in 1997 by Shervin Bunch in Denver, CO. While producing Hip Hop and R&B in Denver he was introduced to and had the privilege of working with well known producers Terry Black, Big Rob, and Antonio Williams. In 2007 Shervin met and signed his current hip hop artist Kelvin Mitchell, AKA K.Mitch. A year later in 2008 K.Mitch's first album True Testimony was released under the Wazdown Records label. True Testimony was nominated by The National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences for the 2010 Grammy Awards in several categories. Among them were: Best rap solo performance, Best rap/sung performance (featuring T Black), and Best rap song. Also In 2010 Wazdown Records moved it's base of operations east to Pittsburgh, Pa where it is currently going strong. This year, 2014, Wazdown Records is excited to be in the process of signing a new, up and coming country artist. Also be on the lookout for K.Mitch's highly anticipated album, THC, expected to drop this year.
