My top 5 strengths are maximizer, adaptability, relator, empathy, and positivity. The one I want to emphasize the most is adaptability. Adaptability, as you can see at what is says, is the ability to adapt to the environment surrounding yourself. I think adaptability had been important through out my life but the most crucial at this moment. I am an international student from South Korea. I have been surrounded by Korea culture for several years and here I am, surrounded by a totally new culture. It is the time that I really need my strength to be useful. What does adaptability means to me? It means fitting in. It means surviving. It means living. It means everything to me. If I weren't able to adapt to the new culture, I would not make it this far, though not much has passed.

I've written a letter to myself at the start of this semester. I opened it and read it before writing this. I look back through the past few months in the Ohio State University. There were some times that I was really regretful of spending times so uselessly but it is sure that I am satisfied with the past few months. I've tried hard not to get eliminated by others. I've tried hard to fit in, to adapt to a new surroundings. I've tried hard not to be ignored or neglected by others just because I was foreigner. I've tried hard to make other laugh a lot because making others happy is never wrong. I've tried hard in all the ways. Reading the letter that I wrote at the start of the semester put me to think again why I am here and what I must sought through the life in the Ohio State University.

The Ohio State University has many traditions including mirror lake jump, singing carmen Ohio, the script OHIO, and lots and lots of things. I've introduced the victory bell among those lots and lots of traditions. Victory bell is rang every time after the Ohio State University's Football team wins a game at the Shoe. The bell was donated by the graduates of the Ohio State University. Since it weighs a lot, it is impossible to ring the bell for 15 minutes by alone. That is why this victory bell is the symbol of teamwork. Teamwork is important in whatever you do. You cannot survive alone in this world. You have to communicate and gather strengths of other people with yours to make a better result. Victory bell implicates how important teamwork is. That was why victory bell is my Ohio State tradition.
