Dr. Wolfgang Baltus Senior Project Manager National Innovation Agency Rama VI Rd, Bangkok Thailand Prior to joining the National Innovation Agency (NIA) as Senior Project Manager for Bioplastics in September 2008 Dr. Wolfgang Baltus worked more than 15 years for BASF in Germany responsible for business development for environmental friendly coating products in Southeast Asia and China . After leaving BASF in 2007 he was appointed as Technical Drector and General Manager for CPM Group in South China. He is holding a PhD in Natural Products Chemistry from the University of Braunschweig, Germany and is an expert for Marine Environmental Science and Ecology as well. Living in Thailand for many years he was engaged in several environmental projects in South Thailand. He is also an active member of the Thailand Diving Association (TDA) which he supports in scientific and environmental issues. At the National Innovation Agency (Public Organization) (NIA) he is responsible for advising on technological and economic aspects of bioplastic production with focus on international projects and policy building.
