William A. Brandwein

Prior to establishing a law office, Mr. Brandwein practiced as a certified public accountant in Chicago, Illinois, with a major CPA firm for eight years. In 1969, a law office was established in Columbus, Ohio, with specialization in Civil and Criminal Tax Litigation, Tax Planning and Estate Planning. In 1985, a law office was established in Monterey, California, continuing the same specialization as was established in Ohio. At present, both offices are still maintained. For undergraduate studies, he attended the University of Illinois and DePaul University in Chicago and DePaul University Law School.

For more than 40 years, the Law Offices of William A. Brandwein has helped individual tax filers and small businesses solve their problems with the Internal Revenue Service and state tax boards. Our practice started in Columbus, Ohio, and even though we’ve been in Monterey, California, for almost 30 years, we still serve a select group of long-term clients there. Our Monterey office has served clients in the Salinas metro area, the Monterey Peninsula, Carmel Valley, Carmel and Pacific Grove since 1985.
