Having held more than 23 trophies, 21 fighting titles, and a successful 20-1 MMA run, Tyease Brooks settles into the arena as a teacher of the martial arts of Wing Chun Kung Fu. Brooks was actually honored by 5 different grandmasters, of different martial arts systems, as being known as the youngest master of his family style; the Hampton – Hong Family Martial Arts. At the age of 12, Brooks was already receiving his mastery level in 20+ systems while most people can not comprehend teaching past 3 systems. Brooks started teaching at 14 years old to many classmates, younger kids, and was even an assistant instructor in Tae Kwon Do. This is the same age Brooks would start Ip Man Wing Chun, even though, Brooks had 4 years of previous training of a different Wing Chun Kung Fu. Brooks would study under Sifu Bernard Courtney for four years as a closed-door/private student visiting Courtney’s family home. Brooks would later join the public school for 4 more years.

Tyease Brooks was also known to teach and be challenged at Henderson State University by different martial arts practioners. In the end, for over 8 years, there was yet anyone to really test his skills. Tyease Brooks was the assistant instructor to the HSU Tae Kwon Do program, teaching Wing Chun Kung Fu & privately teaching in Kendo/Kenjutsu & Japanese Jujutsu. Tyease Brooks has over 21 years of experience in Wing Chun Kung Fu and 31 years of martial arts experience completely.
