I am a geek, there I said it. I love all things technological. I like to think of myself as more than a geek, as I have external interests, particularly sports and a family who I like to spend time with. My daughters rule my life; from what I do in my off hours to what time I get to work, my first priority will always be my wife and daughters. I am a former Windows Server MVP in Canada now working for Microsoft Ireland in the DPE Team as an Architect Evangelist and frequent speaker on the TechNet Ireland tours. My background is not that dissimilar from most IT Professionals, having started on a help desk and progressed through system administration roles to take on leadership positions in government organizations serving as a solutions architect overseeing development and deployment teams and helping set long-term IT strategies for government and enterprise organizations. I have an MCITP in Microsoft Virtualization, am an SBSC, am a certified practitioner of Enterprise Architecture and lead contributor with the TechNet Ireland team blog IEITPro blog.
