William Fong is the founder and managing partner of Fong & Associates, LLP a firm specializing in corporate immigration law. Born and raised in Washington D.C., William Fong graduated from the University of Maryland and received his Juris Doctor degree from the Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University. He is an adjunct professor at the Thurgood Marshall School of Law teaching employment-based and family-based immigration law and is a co-founder of the Institute for International and Immigration Law (IIIL) at the Thurgood Marshall School of Law.
William is active in the immigration legal community as a national and international speaker at AILA conferences and web seminars, Texas Chapter immigration seminars and Houston section meetings. He served 3 terms as a Vice-President of the Asian American Bar Association, as a Committee member of the State Bar of Texas, Opportunities for Minorities Committee and Committee to Elect Minority Directors, and has been recognized by the State Bar of Texas for his pro bono work on behalf of immigrants.
