The We Are US Project, is not a charity or a group, not an NGO or a pastime. WAUS is just me, along with a growing group of folks who believe and want to help make the blue marble we call home, a better place. It became my life in 2012, when I, myself, lost my job in a layoff, got injured at a temp job and by year’s end had lost what others call everything – my car, my home and most of my possessions in an effort to raise money for my bills.

What I did not lose was my need and desire to make a positive change in this world.

Since ‘We are US’ was born,it, has grown and evolved. What started as a way to quell my lifelong, wanderlust and desire to photograph the world has evolved into a way for me to help others thru my photography and good ‘ol hard work.

About.me IS the central hub for all the ways the I connect with the world about my little project.

Below you will find links to my Facebook pages personal & professional photography. I share both purposely. I am a member of several websites that interact very closely in the real world & often the first time as strangers. Whether I am arriving at the home of a fellow CouchSurfer, or Staydu’er – it really helps when both parties involved are able to get to know as much as possible in advance.

You will also find links to my photographic endeavors, volunteering sites and organizations I am involved with; and eventually video links on YouTube to whatever ‘vblogs’ (maybe???) I manage to shoot along the way.
