Moved to Los Angeles in 1991 to study marketing at Santa Monica College followed by UCLA. In 1997 I founded the Santa Monica Film Festival & Moxie! Awards - a monthly series that lead to an annual accolade of international filmmakers. Spawned several initiatives such as Moxie.tv, that used online education programs to promoted filmmaker showcases and online classes. The year round festival activities and marketing/design needs of the organization gave way to ChiOri Media which grew entirely from the "web out". We're currently working on expanding ChiOri Media in Lisbon and Barcelona, where we're responding to a growing need for New Media professionals.
