Webinterpret was created in 2007 by Benjamin Cohen and Patrick Smarzynski who have met at the EM Lyon business school. From the very beginning their main aim was to create company which makes international ecommerce accessible to all sellers.
In the past, they worked on big ecommerce projects. Both of them are IT and Industrial engineers. Patrick has previously created an IT outsourcing company specialising in ecommerce.
In May, 2014, Webinterpret which has partnered with eBay in it’s international growth programme has raised an additional €5 million in capital from its existing investors Seventure and CM-CIC Capital.
