Billy Murray

I am now 35 and happily married with a son but once upon a time I was the lead Guitar player and songwriting cotributor of a Glasgow based Folk Rock band Called STONESOUND who left their footprint over the city by giging in a series of venues throughout the town and outwith also while serving their loyal followers with performing their own original material as well as occasionaly serving up the occasional cover version. We graduly raised the level of venue we played including a gig in the infamous Glasgow Cathouse Club and finally performing our last ever and farewell gig in a venue that when the band started out they said they would consider themselves a success if the managed to play it, King Tuts.

Stonesound release three demo's during their lifetime with such classic songs included on them such as "Slam", "Why", "Freedom", "Alone" and "Pilgrim".

The band called it a day around 2003/4 because of conflicts of interest and ambition but I personally will never rule out a reunion for a one of Gig or perharps even another original demo.
