Andreas Wegner

Designer and founder in Berlin

Hello visitor.

I'm a German designer with a crush on anything gadget-, music- or photography-related. I'm a movie lover and foodie as well (I know,…boring - who isn't?). And I live in the nicest city in Europe there is. No, I live in Berlin - not Paris.

Regarding my profession: I had the pleasure to migrate from 'making things pretty' (communication design) to 'making things work' (interaction design). I've been in the field for a while, so I have a good holistical understanding of most aspects of design. Nowadays user experience and digital services are my daily bread and butter.

My original background is in communication design, I used to work as corporate designer, illustrator, motion designer.

Now I'm running a design studio called Futur2 (German for 'future perfect'), focussing on consequence-aware, future-proof and desirable products and services.

Before I had a leading user experience position at an (formerly mobile-only) agency called iconmobile - I worked there with wonderful co-workers from 2003 to 2019 (Damn!).

My job is to create business value through design and strategy. Mostly I'm focussing on helping industry leaders transforming into digital.

I have a strong expertise in mobile, household appliance and the automotive industry.

Occassionally I give talks and lectures on user experience, digital change and incar interactions at conferences and design schools. Also I'm a jury member of the Lovie awards.
