As a researcher who has 6+ years experiences in • audio collection and processing • noise robust speech analysis and recognition, e.g., HTK and Sphinx • bird song classification, recognition, and detection • computer programming, e.g. C/C++, Perl, Python, Unix Shell, accumulated from 8 different institutes including: • Speech Processing and Auditory Perception Laboratory at UCLA • Speech lab at Tsinghua University • Speech group at Disney Research, Pittsburgh • Speech lab at Rosetta Stone • Speech group at Mitsubishi Electronic Research Laboratory • Speech group at Microsoft Research, Asia • Microprocessor Tech Lab at Inter China Research Center • Speech group at Microsoft Research, Redmond (summer of 2011), is the first author of: • 1 open source toolkit on noise robust F0 (pitch) estimation (*) • 1 public-available annotated bird song database (**) • 2 journal papers (in review) • 8 conference papers, and maintains an activie status in signal processing community by • studying and working in different institutes on different projects • attending inter-institute seminars and signal processing conferences • serving as a reviewer for signal processing journals and conferences, I am interested in both academia and industrial vacancies.
