Ever since I was little I have always been extremely lucky. My family and relatives like to refer to me as “the witch” of the family. Apparently, my dad is also very lucky; therefore my relatives like to think it is hereditary, but that can’t really be proven by science. I tend to win a lot of major giveaways and meet famous people randomly on the street. When I was six years old, my parents decided to put each of our names in a raffle to win tickets to one of The Rolling Stones' biggest concerts in Toronto. Of course my name was chosen out of the thousands of others that actually wanted these tickets, but we couldn’t go so we sent them to our cousins who lived in Toronto. Also, most people pay hundreds of dollars to go backstage and meet one of their idols; yet, I don’t think I’ve ever paid a penny to meet someone famous. I haven’t gone a month since my freshman year of high school without some unexpected famous interaction. From taking a nice stroll down Santa Monica Pier and running into Arnold Schwarzenegger riding his bike, to hanging out with Lady Gaga in a jazz bar at an after show party. I don’t know why I am this lucky, but I am obviously not complaining.
