Weiss Orthopaedic

Trained at the New York University School of Medicine, Dr. Noah Weiss is the founder of Weiss Orthopaedics, a complete surgery center with two California locations. Dr. Noah Weiss supplements his career at Weiss Orthopaedics with participation in multiple professional organizations, including the Arthroscopy Association of North America and the California Medical Association.

He is also a Qualified Medical Examiner for the state of California. Patients who visit Weiss Orthopaedics to treat elbow pain from tennis or golf activity are thoroughly evaluated for custom treatment. Weiss Orthopaedics recommends non-operative treatments to many of the patients, with measures such as fasciotomy surgery being a last resort.

Non-operative treatments at Weiss Orthopaedics include the use of anti-inflammatory medicines and corticosteroid injections, which aid in recovery. Weiss Orthopaedics may also provide specially designed forearm bands and wrist splints as a way to allow an injured elbow tendon to properly rest. For several years, the founder of Weiss Orthopaedics has introduced the surgeons and staff at Vietnam hospitals to the latest and best practices for performing shoulder arthroscopic surgery procedures.

After a family vacation to the country, Dr. Noah Weiss decided to devote considerable time and resources to instructing local physicians in the newest shoulder surgery procedures. He encountered a health care system substantially different from the typical American facility, with notable differences including the re-use of disposable instruments. Dr. Noah Weiss also experienced challenges in obtaining surgical scrubs that would fit his frame, as most of the scrubs available in Vietnam were sized smaller than in the U.S.
