Welcome to Bay City – Home of the San Juan family. We’re a regular family living in a beautiful waterfront city in the lower peninsula of Michigan. We live in an old house on a busy street in a great community. You should really come and visit! We’re a family of three who loves to eat, cook, travel and play.

On a typical day we wake up after dreaming about food, fantasize about lunch at breakfast and plan for supper during lunch. We’re not experts; we just enjoy eating, cooking, talking about, reading about, photographing and sharing all things food related!

Our food-love has evolved over the last several years due to extensive travels. All of that traveling has definitely broadened our horizons when it comes to food. Sometimes we travel as a family, sometimes as a couple, sometimes we have to go for work, sometimes we go alone – but you can bet that wherever we go or whoever we go with – we always come home with great food stories, new recipes and new experiences to share.

We’ve recently adopted a clean eating lifestyle focusing on gluten-free, dairy- free, sugar-free, organic whole foods. Some call it Paleo, others call it Primal. We call it healthy.

We do other stuff, too. You may catch us writing about a recent concert we attended, may be introduced to some new music we think is cool or may even have the opportunity to read some of our creative writing. Of course, you’ll definitely see lots of pictures of our cats… And don’t be offended if one of us swears like a sailor from time to time.

We are Fred, Amy and Gabrielle San Juan. We live, work and play in the Great Lakes Bay region of Michigan. We’re remarkably unremarkable people who are enjoying life in our corner of Michigan. Come see what we’re creating today! :)
