My name is Prasad Welikumbura in my short career, I have been working in several industries before I have settled down with career guidance & recruitment. I think what keeps me tied up to this job it the opportunity that I get to meet different kind of people with different types of attitudes, experiences, skills and the opportunity to help them to find their most suitable job & also for the client to find the most suitable candidate for the job.

Most of the people/companies complains saying there isn't enough jobs or they can’t find suitable candidates. But truth is there are enough suitable candidates & there are enough suitable jobs. Problem is they don’t know how to look & where to look.

Most of the people/companies still use conventional job/head hunting methods like paper advertisements, personal contacts, radio, television etc. but they forget about one of the fastest growing information channel social media, internet & mobile networking.

It gives you the access to a large number of people if you know how to use it and if you have the right connections. The methods that should be used to determine by target audience & their interests.

I believe to acquire best results you have to use both conventional & modern head hunting methods simultaneously. But recipe of how to mix them up is coming with the understanding & experience about the behavior of people in social media, internet & mobile networks.
