"Ordinary ran all the way to his Usual Job, his Dream pounding hard in his chest. As soon as he saw Best Friend, Ordinary blurted out the news: "That Big Dream I told you about--- I've decided to pursue it!" Best Friend looked concerned. "You know as well as I do that Nobodies who pursue their Dreams leave Familiar," he said. "They set off like fools into the Unknown, in search of a place where---" "Yes, yes I know," Ordinary broke in, "and I can't wait to get started."
My wife and I left ordinary late in 2012. Leaving York County, PA, where we had raised our family and moving to Sussex County DE. Not sure what the future held, we both just looked forward to what God had planned for us. We found a church home at Long Neck UMC in 2015. Now in 2017 we are leaving ordinary once again, as I start as Pastor of the Blades/Asbury Charge in Seaford DE, July 1st.
To each and every person who I have met on my journey I say thank you. I have been blessed to have many "teachers" on my journey through life. We have been blessed to get to know many people making a positive difference in the world today. May I continue to grow in the knowledge of Gods Love & Grace while seeking to share the Light Of Jesus with others.
