My name is Anna and I am a freelance food writer and consultant. A great deal of my work involves Welsh food and history so I am on a mission to collect as many Welsh food memories as possible.

The information already collected, especially by the late Bobby Freeman, is concentrated on the last century but although I am interested in recollections of that time, I am also keen to piece together a more recent picture.

I am interested in anything that you would like to tell me about your own personal food history, however insignificant it may seem.

I have set up a twitter account and an email address for the purpose of this project @welshfoodmemory and [email protected] so please let me know your stories; long or short.

The information will be used within my articles and towards a book that I putting together; I may put up a website too. Let me know in any emails if you wish to remain anonymous and whether you would be happy to answer further questions; I cannot guarantee a reply to all emails though.
