I have loved all kinds of words since I was a little kid, rafting alongside Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn on the mighty Mississippi. Or sailing with Captain Perry on the high seas to Japan. Or rambling with Winnie the Pooh and his friends in the lush green English countryside.

My 42-year career was in social work, development and communications; all for non-profit organizations. I wrote annual reports, flyers, newsletters, websites, press releases, grant proposals, newspaper and magazine articles, a Master's thesis, health education brochures and booklets, company guidelines and customer service manuals and more!
