I grew up in the West Texas town of Midland. I can remember growing up I dreamed of being a police officer or in the FBI. Also I looked into joining the Peace Corps. Really, my goal was to help and serve others. After high school I joined the United States Navy. My opportunity to serve had finally arrived! Early in my naval career, I met and married my wonderful husband. We wasted no time becoming a family of three. Priorities shifted for me when I held our first bundle of joy. I had dreams of what our family's life would look like. Those dreams did not include leaving our son for military deployments. After my enlistment was up I left the Navy. After leaving the military I continued serving, working as a civilian for the Marine Corps Community Services and later I worked at the church I grew up in. My husband has continued his service to our great country for over 20 years. But we still wanted a lifestyle that would afford us the opportunity to help not only our family, but families around the world. In my future, I don't see fortune and fame, I see God and a family business. I see a dream come true and hope for millions of other dreamers that just need to see someone else do it with honesty and integrity. My biggest fear is to be luke warm, comfortable, not growing, rationalizing and to waste this whisp of time called LIFE. I want to associate with other people who have big dreams and are not afraid to pursue them.
