I'm Wendy! I'm excited to share a bit about myself with you. I'm originally from Colombia and I'm proud to be a first-generation immigrant here in the United States. My unique background has shaped my perspectives and aspirations in many ways.

I’m a Data Operations Analyst at Power TakeOff, where I use data to make energy efficiency programs smarter and more impactful. My work focuses on automating workflows, improving data pipelines, and building tools that help cross-functional teams make better, faster data driven decisions. I love finding ways to simplify complex processes, whether it’s through Python, SQL, or a good dashboard.

I started my career as an industrial engineer and later transitioned into analytics, combining my technical background with a passion for sustainability and process improvement. I’m currently pursuing my Master’s in Data Science at the Colorado School of Mines, where I’m deepening my skills in data modeling, visualization, and machine learning.

Beyond work and school, I serve as the VP of Communications for the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (Colorado Chapter), where I help build community and create spaces for professional growth among Hispanic engineers and data professionals. I’m driven by curiosity, creativity, and the belief that good data and good people can make meaningful change
