Wendy Freeze

I have been involved in some capacity with the birthing world since 1998 when I began supporting my friends at births. In 2001 I left the US for several years to serve overseas as a missionary in Papua New Guinea. While I was there, I taught childbirth education and attended some births. Since then, I have become a midwifery student where part of my training was done at a maternity clinic for the indigenous poor in the Philippines. I have a special place in my heart for the international community, for women who feel vulnerable, and for women who want to embrace the power of birth by realizing the strength and design of their perfectly created bodies. I love to help laboring mothers to trust the miraculous process of birth!
