I started my career in Business Intelligence with a master’s degree in computer Science from Texas. Before moving to New Zealand, I spent five years as Business Intelligence Practice Director for Plaster Group Consulting in Seattle, worked for Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Expedia, Amazon, and Washington Mutual. I am now leading the Data Intelligence project portfolio for ANZ bank in New Zealand, driving the creation of a centralized data warehouse.
I am a Certified Data Management Professional,and love all things data! I was widely involved in developing courses at UW (University of Washington), was past-president of the Seattle chapter of TDWI (The Data Warehouse Institute), active in the Puget Sound Data Management Association, and a speaker on self-service BI and agile BI solutions.
