I live on an isolated farm near Lake Eppalock (near Bendigo) with 2 spoilt cats & 2 equally spoilt chickens & my partner Chris.

I enjoy trying any type of craft, but frankly there is not enough time in one's own lifetime to 'learn it all'. So I am concentrating on making jewellry under the tradename 'Marek Crafts'. Marek is peacock in bahasa.

The shapes, colours & textures of natural stones & crystals inspire my designs. I generally gather an array of beads of different textures & colours, arrange & re-arrange until the piece has virtually made itself.

I generally use precious stones & crystals in my pieces. I've only recently started working with resin & am currently sourcing different techniques & mediums to create designs inspired by nature. So watch this space.

My other interests are drawing in pencil & charcoal, painting in oils & sewing.
