I’m a Canadian painter and fibre artist living and working in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. My work branches off into two seemingly unrelated bodies of work: acrylic on canvas paintings and fibre art.

My paintings focus on black and white recreations of Saskatoon back alleys and buildings. I am drawn to the way the darkened grey and black buildings stand in vivid contrast against the bright white sky, crisscrossed by poles and power lines.

My fibre work involves felt food sets and Waldorf-inspired dolls. My felt food sets are a symbolic representation of the traditions and relationships built around food. My felt food sets have been exhibited at the Saskatchewan Craft Council.

I began making Waldorf-inspired dolls in 2014. I love working with wool and yarn to create these beautiful, and playable, little dolls. I make my dolls in my home, where I live with my husband, two little kids and a turtle named Lambchop. My line of dolls is called "Alice Lucille" after my mother who taught me to sew and gave me the gift of creativity.
