Wendy Wells has a passion for discovering things in the world around her, present but not readily noticed. She enjoys unearthing unusual information to integrate into her work and finds research an immensely fulfilling task. She is enthralled by the research that goes into uncovering smaller and lesser-known organizations in the arts and natural sciences.

Wendy’s love for curriculum led her to create and direct a history camp for 14 years, along with a series of science classes called “Weird Science.” She founded a theater company, Manifest Theater, and studied theater with the East Bay Jewish Theater Company. Wendy has also worked at the Oakland Library, co-managed Leopold’s Records in Berkeley, and interned at the Point Reyes Observatory. She graduated from California State University, Chico with a major in history and minor in art.
