Currently I am Sazerac's Global Shopper Marketing Leader, working across +500 most extraordinary spirit brands and some of the world's most renowned distilleries such as Buffalo Trace.

Prior, I served as a part-time CEO & COO for multiple start-ups. Before, I was General Manager at Perksy, a technology-based consumer insights company.

I was a non-executive board member of E&A Scheer, a 300-year-old global leading supplier and master blender of Rum in bulk and previously at YumEarth, a “better form you” confectionary firm - both under Private Equity ownership of Riverside Capital.

From 2017 to 2019 I was Head of Corporate Development and member of the Executive leadership team at Staples Solutions Europe, a Cerberus portfolio company.

Prior to that, I was the functional leader of an 800-person Sales, Marketing & Corporate Communications organization and member of the Executive Management Team of Coveris a private equity-owned global leading plastic packaging company.

From 2012 until 2015 I had several entrepreneurial endeavors. I was a Consultant and Private Equity Executive in Residence, served as an alcohol beverage industry expert and successfully exited a food business that I launched into the US as the company’s first CEO and minority owner.

From 2007 until 2011, I was Senior Vice President Global Customer Marketing at Diageo, the world’s leading Beverage Alcohol Company. The 650-people organization I led became a key source of growth behind path-to-purchase marketing programs that win at the “Moment of Choice”.

Before that, I was CEO & Managing Director of Interbrand, a leading global Brand Consultancy and a subsidiary of The Omnicom Group. The 100-person Cincinnati office was the North American CPG Center of Excellence servicing international Fortune 100 companies.

Prior to joining Interbrand in 2004, I had a long career at Procter & Gamble, the world’s premier Consumer Goods Company.

I was educated in Austria and received a Master of Economics and Social Sciences from the Vienna University of Economics and Business in 1990.

When not spending time with my family on various endeavors, I can be found riding my bike, playing tennis and pickle ball in the summer, and in the winter skiing, playing paddle tennis and competing at fantasy football. I became a US citizen in 2008 and maintained my Austrian citizenship.
