Wesam Azar

I was born and raised in a city called Ramallah south Jerusalem in Palestine, since I was a child I appreciated art in all of it's forms; drawing, music, literature, and film. The political instability living situation in my country didn't allow me to deepen my creativity and path in art. However, my curiosity, determination, and challenging personality guided me in finding my way in art. As a result, I attended Birzeit University to study Architectural Engineering. I earned my bachelor's degree in 1999. After presenting my professional project and thesis I had the opportunity to work as an architect and interior designer in many firms. I gained most of my experience at "Wasef Mute's furniture factory "; where I worked as a furniture and kitchen designer for 5 year. I was inspired by many key people in my different stages of life. I was taught how to know, invent, fail, succeed and move on. I was learned how to be strong, responsible mature, and be a leader.
Such profound experience gained revealed me potentials to make a difference in my life through my work. This challenging experience allowed me to expand my horizons and fulfill my dream of creating my own independent business in interior design; at that moment, I discovered that interior design and architecture can create the social life of all people living in this changing and challenging multi-cultural small village called the globe. So I decided to expand and strengthen my academic knowledge in this field and do my master degree in interior design here in the USA at the Academy of Art University.

I have just attained my Master's degree in Interior design from the Academy of Art University. While preparing my final thesis, I conducted comprehensive research on museum and civic projects, and improved my skills in CAD and 3D rendering.

I have a lot of drive, curiosity, and fresh ideas. I am currently searching for a world wide architectural company that will provide me with a supportive working environment through which I can apply and further develop my design skills.
