Wesley Morrison

I operate an online retailing business.

I've grown the enterprise whilst completing the final year of my English degree in 2014, as a full time mature student, at Staffordshire University, following a 3 year break.

My research interests are concerned with the status of the Subject, the Body, and the ‘problem’ of representation in Literature and Literary Theory circa 1800 to Present.

During my break from education, I've spent my time bringing landlords and tenants together in that precarious bond: the 'Assured Shorthold Tenancy'.

Within just twelve months of working and qualifying in the residential lettings sector (UK & Wales), I progressed from co-ordinating new and expiring tenancies as a Lettings Administrator, to being the Property Manager responsible for a diverse contractor base and the Branch’s portfolio of upwards 200 managed properties.

All this, before going on to manage a residential lettings office for a major UK brand, as the Branch Manager, with a staff of four.

Since 2011 I have volunteered with Hotbox and the charity Oxfam, as a qualified event steward assisting in the management of campsites and arena gates at major UK music festivals. Experience includes:- Latitude: ’11, ’12, ’13, ’14; Leeds: ’11; Bestival: ’12, ‘14; WoMaD: ’12; Beautiful Days: ’12; Etc.
