Wesley Hutchings

Currently the vice president of purchasing at Hutchings Automotive Products, SA, LLP, Wesley Hutchings has a career in the automotive sector spanning more than four decades. As a young man, he assisted his father in expanding S&H Fabricating & Engineering from a single-garage operation into one of North America’s most respected original-equipment air conditioning suppliers. Holding positions such as production control manager and international marketing and sales manager, Wesley Hutchings helped lead a firm that ultimately encompassed 21 dedicated manufacturing facilities and a staff of 3,000.

As vice president of purchasing, Wes Hutchings holds responsibilities for the indirect and direct materials that enable production of parts designed to meet the stringent needs of clients such as General Motors Company, Ford Motor Company, and Chrysler Group, LLC. He also oversees all aspects of materials at facilities in Central America. An avid traveler, Wes Hutchings particularly enjoys ski trips to Colorado in his free time, as well as vacations to tropical locales such as Tahiti and the British Virgin Islands.
