Once Upon a Time...After working 15 years in the theater, Wes learned what it meant to excel in stage production. Producing and writing during these 15 years provided Wes a depth of experience on the stage. Originally, his journey to the stage started as a child where he first found his love for music. Raised in a family of performers, simple family gatherings exposed him to music and art. After his involvement in stage production ended in 2004, Wes left the entertainment world and entered into a new world of supply chain operations and management.
Skilled and experienced, Wes was unaware of the obstacle he would soon face. In 2012, Wes lost his vision. While he struggled to adapt to his new physical circumstances, Wes persevered through it. As someone involved in visual arts, his loss of eyesight was difficult for him and his family. However a director friend said, if anyone can produce with his eyes closed, it is Wes. It was because of this reason Fernando reached out to Wes in 2014, inviting him back into the production world to work on I AM, A Passion Play, through Brightstar Pictures.
Wes prioritizes building relationships and encouraging his friends and family. He realizes life is tough and his aim is to lift the spirits of others as he leaves a smile on their face. His lively spirit comes from his relationship with God as he seeks to know him deeply. Wes spends time learning about the history, both his own ancestry and the history of people.
Wes lives in Atlanta, Georgia with his lovely wife, Kumarie of 20 years, and has three children, all teenagers.
