Wes Nelson

Born and raised in Nashville by a professional musician and a visual artist, I grew up in a home where creativity was demystified. The ability to create was not enough. The quality and novelty of the creation was everything.

A childhood of variety ushered me into business school as a creative. Here I realized that, though promotion and design were fun, they were means to ends. The event ends, but the brand lives on. Thus began a fascination and pursuit of big ideas.

After school I moved out West, where operations management wove structure into my creativity and independence into my collaborative tendencies. After a year in the warehouse, I transitioned out to focus on freelance design/communications, startups, and community development – putting Reno's startup scene on the map!

Now I'm back in Nashville – still cutting my teeth on ideas – with an ever-increasing appreciation of process, traction, and collaboration.
