I am a friendly introvert that digs live music, thinks critically about the media, and enjoys exploring the lost art of language. I relish conversations that have depth, think Jersey Shore is making America dumber, and subscribe to the notion that nothing blows off steam better than a hard workout. I am curious about when persuasion becomes manipulation, whether knowledge actually is power, and if ignorance is, in fact, bliss. To regain my sanity, I paint, read, and travel the globe.
