Wes Volberding

Smith County, Texas attorney Wes Volberding graduated from Baylor Law School in 1993 where he was Senior Notes & Comments Editor of the Baylor Law Review. He clerked for the Hon. Judge William M. Steger, U.S. District Court, in Tyler for two years, and then served as a felony prosecutor in Nacogdoches. He has been in private practice since 1996. Mr. Volberding has published articles in the Texas Bar Journal and in The Voice, a publication of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers' Association. He is Board Certified in Criminal Law and currently represents five men on Texas death row.
