She's born and raised in Singapore, Asia's greenest city, where it's summer all year round. Contrary to popular belief, Singaporeans understand and speak English well.

She grew up watching her mum bake scrumptious Malay desserts like bingka labu, makmur, kueh tartandseri muka. Her mum had all the tools any baker would appreciate having in hand.

Baking got more passionate for her when she was a teenager and got started with a brownie mix box. But it turned out to be a complete disaster because she wanted to make the brownie super fudgy that she undercooked it. Instead of throwing the batch away, she gave some to her friends and one dude actually barfed in front of her after taking a bite because it was too gooey for him. She was mortified!!!!

She worked at a couple of bakeries from the age of 20 to equip herself with the proper skills and tools to be a better baker. Ohhhhh boy…..you should have seen the first batch of cupcakes she piped. 5 year olds can do better.

Currently, she’s into cooking, probably because she wants to be domesticated housewife someday. Kidding…..or not.

When she's in the kitchen, she's busy bumping to the latest RnB/Hip-Hop tracks and occasionally from The XX, Wet, Sleeping with Sirens and Alesana. You could say that when she's not feeling like turning up, she turns down for something mellow or hardcore.

Apart from that, she’s busy showing off her kindergarten-level Espańol language by conversing with her friends even when they know nada on how to respond.

She gets thrilled over tea. All sorts of tea! But her favourite flavours are earl grey, green tea, rose, French vanilla and mango.

If you lost her in the mall, she’s probably at Yankee Candle or Bath and Body Works sniffing every scent they put on display, and coming out of either store with 10 candles in hand!
