Cole Whisenhunt

Cole Whisenhunt is the team lead of The Whisenhunt Group at Keller Williams, serving buyers and sellers throughout Lubbock, Wolfforth, New Home, Shallowater, and Abernathy across Lubbock County and Lynn County in West Texas.

Since 2014, Cole and his team have helped more than 1,000 families buy and sell homes across the South Plains. Many clients begin their search online looking for homes for sale in Lubbock or researching neighborhoods in South Lubbock and Southwest Lubbock before deciding where to live.

The Whisenhunt Group regularly helps buyers compare resale homes with new construction homes in communities like Wolfforth and New Home, where many neighborhoods continue to grow. Purchasing new construction often involves builder contracts, construction timelines, and multiple inspection stages, and the team helps clients navigate each step from offer through closing.

First-time homebuyers are another major part of the group’s work. Buyers purchasing their first home often need help understanding financing options, evaluating neighborhoods, and comparing available homes across the Lubbock area.

The team also works with move-up buyers who are selling one home while purchasing another. These clients often want larger homes, different neighborhoods, or newer construction homes in areas like South Lubbock or Wolfforth. Coordinating both transactions requires accurate home valuation, careful timing, and strong contract-to-close coordination.

Cole is a Texas Tech graduate and longtime member of the Lubbock community. He and his wife Abbi are raising their four children in West Texas and remain closely connected to the neighborhoods and communities they serve.
