I never thought I would be a photographer.

Growing up I believed I would find a path in history, looking through old books and learning about the past, that was what I enjoyed. To hear the stories of those that came before us, it made me want to know more.

Through sheer impulse I signed up for a photography course, pressing a button...how hard could it have possibly been?

that was my naivety. Everything changed for me at that point.
I became creative, my mind worked in different ways, and I could look at a landscape and think on how to compose it in a frame, I could look at someone’s face and judge the lighting to illuminate their features. I could look at a simple, pointless object and make it interesting and unique. I began to enjoy what I was doing and that has never left. Photography became and addiction, something that fuelled my creativity. I can't escape it now.

I'm still a student, but if I can create the world in a fishbowl simply by adding some coloured inks and my own unique style.... imagine what I can do in the future.
