Cydney White

No, my name is not Oprah, yes; this is a list of my favorite things. I will not be giving anything away so unfortunately no one will receive a car or a really cool blender. I’m sorry but only Oprah can successfully pull that off and this is merely my biography. With that being said, my name is Cydney White and these are a few of my favorite things.
One, clean sheets. At the age of nineteen, few things are more important than my bed. More often than not the best part of my day is the satisfying climb into bed after a long day of class. However, the only thing that makes that better is freshly washed and dried sheets. The best nights of sleep that I’ve had come from the sparkling, spotless, soft sheets that I have burrito-ed myself in. Number two, candles. Picture this: you’re nestled in your lovely, just made bed, relaxing, maybe reading a book. What could possibly make this any better? A dim candle burning on your nightstand. It simply takes the stress out of the room and replaces it with my favorite scent (lavender). I love to light a soothing candle after a hard day to calm down. Three, being home alone. Nothing compares to waking up and being completely on my own with the ability to do whatever I want to with my day. I didn’t know that it would mean more to me when I came to college. While having a day alone in high school was ideal, coming across a day to myself in college is unbelievable. Whether I stay home and rearrange my room and clean out my closets, or I run errands and take myself out to lunch, the idea of calling the shots for my whole day without interference is beyond satisfying. The only thing that can make any of these items even better, would be involving all of them into one flawless day.
