White Noise

White Noise

White Noise, a new Canadian play making its world premiere at the Ottawa Fringe Festival, explores the last moments of a fragile young woman’s journey toward taking her own life, and the Internet friendship that led her to do so. The piece is based around the Nadia Kajouji case, a Carleton student who died by suicide in the Ottawa River in 2008, after being prompted to do so by an Internet predator.

It is a chilling story to be told with local importance written, directed, and performed by two Ottawa natives, Christina Bryson and Margaret Evraire. The piece also features the talents of Aisha Bentham, Elizabeth Tanner, Brittany Cope, and Justin Bath.
