I'm a marketer who discovered an interest in building and optimizing websites while managing the homepage for a major browser games company and started learning HTML, CSS and JavaScript. On returning to the US after 7 years in Europe, I started doing freelance work assisting small businesses with their web presence. So far I'm enjoying it - with extensive international experience in tech and internet companies, I'm used to a fast-paced work environment and lots to juggle (and wouldn't have it any other way)!
Ever since I was young I have been driven by my insatiable curiosity. I have to learn, to find things, to go places. I'm also a nature nut who loves to wander through the woods, photograph birds, kayak and camp.
My best adventure to date has been volunteering in Zimbabwe at a wildlife orphanage for 3 weeks.
