Whitney Luckhart

Who am I? Daughter, sister, student, and child of God. I am passionate about life and all of the beauty it holds. I am creative and am always willing to push myself to grow as an artist and person. I am a photographer with a love for capturing life through my lens. I am a student with a deep devotion to learning and expanding the depths of my knowledge. I am determined and driven; I actively work towards the goals I set before myself. I love to laugh and find joy in every moment of this beautiful life I have been given.

My Passion? Life. Living rather than existing. Feeling the aches of life, both joy and pain. Family. More often than not, the ties that bind are what hold me together. People. What is my purpose if not to pour into others? Travel. It's in my blood. New cultures, new places, another stamp on my passport. Just go. Learning. To learn is to grow, not just in the world but in myself. Creating. Because I have been created. Photography. That moment when I look through my lens and everything about the shot is ideal, I press down on the shutter button and suddenly my vision is captured and chills ensue. The ability to freeze laughter, preserve joy, and defy the passing of time with a photograph.

What am I doing? Currently, I am a junior at Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee. I am majoring in Biblical and Theological Studies and minoring in Communications Studies.

Where am I going? Wherever the Lord leads, I will go. In humble submission to His will for my life and in divine acknowledgment of His authority over me, I yield my will to Him and place my life in His capable hands.
