I translate a decade of editorial precision and evolving cybersecurity expertise into what AI pipelines and client deliverables actually demand: clean data, clear reporting, and airtight compliance that separates a defensible incident response from a costly one. Research and editorial work trained me to find what matters in a flood of information and make it defensible: the same skill set incident response rewards.

Across governance, breach response, and AI-integrated systems, I align data protection strategies with the regulatory frameworks that matter most: GDPR, PHIPA, PIPEDA, HIPAA, CPA, and CCPA. The foundation beneath it all is years of permissions management for higher education reference volumes and freelance copywriting, copy editing, and proofreading across an international client base.

That work spans consulting firms, academic institutions, non-profits, authors, and publishers across the globe:

• Managed 13M+ words across 45 annual volumes for the Literature Criticism Series, overseeing 60–100 contracts per volume from generation through execution.

• Led end-to-end research and coordinated 200+ academic contributors for Disability Experiences: Memoirs, Autobiographies, and Other Personal Narratives, a title recognized with a Dartmouth Medal Honorable Mention and a PROSE Awards Finalist distinction.

• Collaborated on cross-functional LLM training for PII detection, applying editorial precision and regulatory acumen to refine the model's real-world privacy compliance capabilities.

• Analyzed complex metadata and classified sensitive information for remote teams on high-volume, high-stakes document review projects, consistently delivered ahead of schedule and under budget.

• Developed compliance documentation and marketing materials to demonstrate appropriate use of a $15.5M SC JEDA Economic Development Revenue Bond, securing continued funding across construction phases.

Whether collaborating on LLM training for PII detection, ensuring eDiscovery accuracy under litigation hold, or advising on internal audits, the work is only as good as its documentation. That's where precision becomes an advantage and where I earn my place on any team.

I work with organizations that take risk, compliance, and data protection seriously. If that's yours, reach out.
