Whitney Snyder

Growing up in a one red light town has allowed me to hone my people skills and develop an effective way of communicating with colleagues and peers. The community in which I grew up provided me with the opportunity to get involved and participate in several different activities, which allowed me to realize what drives my passion.

I chose to attend Robert Morris University in reflection of the lifestyle that I lived in Albion, PA. RMU embraces the tight knit family vibe that is emulated in my home town, and that is something that has always been of value to me during my career at RMU. There have been abundant opportunities for exploration in my career path while attending RMU due to the proximity of the Pittsburgh market. This too helped me in making my decision to further my education at RMU. I chose to follow my passion in the entertainment industry by utilizing the networks that I was exposed to during my career here in Moon Township.

Each of the opportunities that I have faced throughout my stay in Pittsburgh have allowed me to gain knowledge in the areas of marketing, public relations, community relations, advertising, writing, and event planning.

It has become quite apparent to me that my passion lies within the entertainment industry and I look forward to seeing where my hard work and talents lead me.
