Whitney Taylor

Whitney Taylor is a senior at the University of Maryland, double-majoring in Journalism and Kinesiology. I began school intending on studying broadcasting and have loved my experience at the University of Maryland. I worked on the radio show, “Terp Weekly Edition,” airing on WMUC and served one semester as a reporter and the next as producer of the sports show “Terrapin Timeout,” airing on UMTV. I decided to add a second major in Kinesiology after taking courses intending to minor. I’ve enjoyed my time at Maryland so much that instead of leaving a semester early, I am staying an extra semester and getting two degrees.

I am starting this blog for my Online Journalism class. It will be a place to show off my work in journalism so far in school.
