Whitney Nelson

I'm a person who enjoys life to the fullest and working hard. I'm energetic and enthusiastic about adventures and all the different cultures life has to offer. I have passion for traveling and making a difference. I have a BA in Communications and want to use it in PR, marketing, event planning or my travel expertise.

I am a recent graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. I'm currently in the hospitality business seeking to obtain a position which will utilize my strong communication and customer service skills to benefit an organization. I speicalize in oral and written communications, creative writing and blogging. My experience in hospitality has provided me with diverse opportunities to interact with people and maintain a positive attitude in an ever-changing environment. The numerous journalism, communication, and marketing courses I have taken throughout my college career, assisted me in developing strong professional communication skills, both verbal and written. I have also learned to work well with a team, through group projects and though my employment. I enjoy event planning, traveling, social media and marketing.
