As a Career Consultant with proven resume, cover letter and personal statement writing skills essential for the job search, I function to help students get from point A to point B along their individual career path.

I stand unique in the field of Career Services with a Master of Business Administration degree and substantial work experience in higher education, specifically Career Services and Human Resource Management. I have a passion for developing and promoting new career-related programming to meet the needs of students including creating engaging marketing materials and campaigns across a variety of platforms. In three months, I increased engagement and following of our Instagram account (@ugacareercenter) by 435%. Additionally, I thrive in the area of building powerful partnerships with employers through coordinating UGA's annual Education Career Fair, in which I increased employer attendance by 81% from 2014-2015.

Finding comfort in front of a crowd of any size, I enjoy engaging students with career related discussion; allowing the motto “the one doing the most talking is the one who is doing the most learning” to guide my presentations. I am captivated with the pursuit of the best practices of presenting information in a way that allows the audience to better retain that information. I enjoy interacting with students in one-on-one or small group settings where I use effective coaching techniques to bridge the gap between where the student is and where they want to be.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my husband, crafting, working out, hiking, boating, shopping, trying out new resturants in Athens, and watching Shark Tank! My java of choice is a carmel latte.
